Mehdi Abedini has designed “Manzar”, an Arabic-Persian body text typeface, under supervision of Damoon Khanjanzadeh in 2011. This typeface is based on Thuluth script in proportions and structure and uses Hashim Baghdadi’s (Iraqi calligrapher, 1917-1973) style as the source.

On November 24, 2011, an exhibition titled "Typographic Tables” was held in the Museion-Museum of modern and contemporary art, Bolzano, in Italy, curated by Antonino Benincasa. The exhibition featured 30 artworks by contemporary graphic designers, typographers and emerging talents from the visual arts. Reza Abedini and Homa Delvaray were the two Iranian designers who participated in the Typographic Tables exhibition.

Vije typeface has been designed for Vije's corporate identity and marketing which includes Vije Publication, Vije School of Visual Arts and Communication and Vije Pardazan Advertising Agency.

During the European Design Conference in Rotterdam, in May of 2011, Reza Abedini, Iranian graphic designer, was asked to redesign Arabic logotype of the Spanish retail brand, Desigual.

Since 1927 the daily [Musalman] newspaper has been published in Urdu language in Chennai, India. What makes this a noteworthy story is that this family owned and operated publication has been handwritten every single day by a tireless team of four katibs.
